To buy or not to buy...that was the question.

So on Sunday I sat down and went to Efuntop to take further advantage of some of their good prices on mods & tanks. After accumulating my order I had a rethink and decided I really did have enough of each and shouldn't buy any more. Good common sense won out. Then on Monday morning I was back at it with a full order all made out and again instead of completing the purchase I let common sense get in the way again and hit the X button instead. Same thing on Tuesday morning and again common sense prevailed.

Finally on Tuesday night I reread the FDA regs and a couple of articles on what is likely to happen to the vape industry in the US. :rules:

Finally this morning, Wednesday, I was able to actually complete the purchase and now have 3 more mods and 5 more atty's coming to add to my stash.

I can safely say that the FDA's vaping regulations are certainly a cure for common sense. :thumb:

It does seem like we need to stock up on certain items. I just had a mod die on me after 3 years. So, if I need a new mod every three years...I should stock up on at least 10 of them. Cause I hope to live 30 more years, at the least. The 2 1/2 liters of 100% nic liquid sometimes, just doesn't seem enough......wire, cotton and batteries should always be around. I'm just trying to figure out what is going to be regulated.

Same problem here although I'm not worried about FDA regulations, I worry about the presidents getting upset because it comes from China rather than the US. I can't use his name, it might trigger an alarm.

This isn't a partisan issue.
The FDA regs were brought to life under the past administration, though that has been largely irrelevant to the situation.
It's more about a rouge govt agency with no oversight regulating control of an industry to their former emoloyers, and companies they still hold an intrest in.
They are backed by states who cannot afford to lose profits from tobacco companies.

I'm at the stage of life where I question every purchase. Giant economy size? Buy 2 get 1 free? Extra warranty? Big box stores tend to create a bunch of math problems for me.

When it comes to vape supplies, except for batteries, I figure I can last until I'm 113 years old. It's gone way beyond common sense.

You said the 3 letters that make me impulse buy.
I have a Ijoy Captain, VV Icon, and 60ml of BLVK Unicorn FrzApple coming tomorrow. Then a Tesla 120 Steampunk and Etalien next week.

I went crazy last summer and bought up enough Hangsen tobacco concentrates to last me for many years, transferred them into glass and into the freezer. Flavorings probably won't go away, just the tobacco concentrates I feared will disappear. I've bought several mods that I just used to make sure they work then back into the box and set away, now got several more in the mail to be put away for when the current units I'm using die. Same with subtank mini RBA's and parts, got lots stashed away so if the hammer does fall and gear begins to disappear or prices go up. I'm not going to have to panic and to try to find gear. Some things like DIY juice base, batteries and wire will always be around. Should add got several liters of nic in the freezer also so ya...I'm sitting a good place now with my vaping supplies.
