Mister Rogers starts by explaining that he changes into a sweater and sneakers in order to have a "relaxed visit" with his television neighbors. With him he has brough a medium-sized ball which he takes outside for a game of "crownball" with Mr. McFeely.

Mister Rogers goes along with Mr. McFeely to the library where they request videotapes about how people make sneakers and sweaters. The librarian, Joyce Broadus, finds that both are checked out. Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely join Tome Cousin who is at the libarary sharing a story with a group of children and parents.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday is talking to Miss Paulificate as he tries to decide on a role for the upcoming play. As Miss Paulificate dances with Prince Tuesday's rag doll, Tome, he comes to life.

Prince Tuesday takes on the responsibility of watching after King Friday's spare crown while Handyman Negri finds some polish to clean it. King Friday emerges to find no one in his presence until Tome the Rag Doll appears. Tome demonstrates a dance for the King before setting out in search of Prince Tuesday. On his way by the tree, Henrietta asks Tome to deliver a long box to Lady Aberlin on her behalf.

At the school in Someplace Else, everyone is discussing their roles for the play when Prince Tuesday arrives and shares that he would like to play a giant and a king. Lady Aberlin and Tome the Rag Doll arrive at the school where they open the long box to find a ballerina costume for Ana Platypus. Handyman Negri calls the school in search of the King's spare crown which Prince Tuesday denies having.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers sings Everybody's Fancy.
