Very good dogs go for the walk of a lifetime at LGBTQ Pride this year

President Trump may not be celebrating LGBTQ pride this year, but at least these dogs will.

Dogs were out in full rainbow force this weekend as cities across the country marched and twirled for Pride. And yes, they're dogs and therefore technically incapable of having a public position on same-sex marriage and trans-friendly bathrooms. Who cares?

Let's all take a break from reality anthropomorphize for a moment. It feels so great.

Look at how proud these pups are. They're wearing bows. They've got bandanas. They're one sequin away from glitter thongs.

They're here! They're hypothetically queer! And they're not going anywhere!

This pup doesn't care if he "barks up the wrong tree." He's proud, and also very attractive.

And this doggo may not be queer but she's a wonderful ally and an active member of PFLAG: pets and friends of lesbians and gays.

It's time the LGBTQ community embraced their furrier brethren and marched forward together, hand-in-hand and hand-in-paw.
