Abstract: Bone splitting technique combined with guided bone regeneration(GBR)are commonly used in maxillary anterior region with a ridge width of only 3-5 mm to increase bone volume. Here we reported a case of aesthetic implant restoration of a severely atrophic maxillary ridge,with a width of less than 3 mm,by combining bone splitting and GBR technique.
