Ordered dinner takeout online here, which worked out nicely (there was a Wednesday discount, which was nice). Pickup was fairly seamless and easy, and when we ate the food later on, it was on par with other El Limon locations. Inside the restaurant, it looked pretty spacious compared to other locations I've been to, and more spread out. It was a bit early for dinner, but pretty empty when I went. Overall, good food, and I would probably return if in the area again.
This review is about the corn dog, which is the only thing I've tried there so far. I tried the half and half dog with the regular breadcrumb crust, and it was quite tasty. The cheese was nice and oozy, and the hot dog inside provided a nice burst of salty flavor in there.
I'd be interested in coming back to try other kinds of corn dogs, as well as the mochi donuts!
We called in an order on the way back from the zoo, parked nearby and picked it up. No issue, it was ready when I got there, and everything worked fine. Location-wise, it can be tricky to find parking at certain times, but other than that, it tasted just as good as any other Mr. Wish location we've tried in the area. Nice to see this chain popping up in more spots around the Philly suburbs!
Fun trail to walk on, goes through the woods but it's mostly paved. We went some time ago and haven't been back, but would be fun to try again with the toddler. Looks mostly stroller-friendly, since the part we've been on is all paved. We've picked it up on Militia Hill Rd
I've been able to check out some of the outdoor exercise equipment a handful of times in the morning, when it's not too crowded there. I've also brought the toddler over to play around a bit in the morning, and it's been a fun spot to check out. The playground has a small kid area, which I appreciate.
The exercise equipment is in two separate spots in the park (that I'm aware of), which makes for a nice workout - run to the one by the baseball fields, do some exercise, then run back around to the one near the memorial and do some exercises and stretches there. It's closer to home than the longer route I usually run, so I like doing this shorter route with some additional workouts if I'm a little more crunched on time in the morning.
Nice local park with a bunch of sports courts that local teams use, and some nice playground equipment. In the winter, a local Boy Scouts troop sells Christmas trees in the parking lot.
I've been here a handful of times for some township events, but a lot of times it's pretty crowded, so we've been steering clear, especially during the pandemic. They do have some outdoor exercise equipment, though, and I may try that out sometime.
