Live from his 24K Magic World Tour in Amsterdam, Bruno Mars serenaded the audience with a performance of “Versace on the Floor” on Sunday night.
Although known for giving energetic performances, the “24K Magic” singer began his performance by belting a stripped- down rendition of his new song. After serenading his tour audience with his vocals, the singer then transitioned to performing the song alongside his band and two backup singers.
Earlier this year, Mars’ 24K Magic went platinum with hit singles that included dance anthems “That’s What I Like” and “24K Magic.” This year’s BBMA performance marks the singer’s debut television performance of “Versace on the Floor.” Although this is his first televised performance of the new song, the singer previously performed the sensual tune alongside James Corden for an episode of “Carpool Karaoke.”
For this year’s awards show, Mars was nominated for three awards that included: Top R&B artist, song and Top R&B album for 24K Magic.
The Billboard Music Awards aired live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT Sunday on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Vanessa Hudgens and Ludacris hosted. Keep up with all the latest news here.
