Elements Pro Gaming announces their new roster

Elements Pro Gaming have announced their new members and will take this roster to the Blood in the Streets qualifier tomorrow.

Just a week ago, Elements Pro Gaming saw their mid-lane and carry players departing after a long spell of not having any success. With Gordan ‘g0g1’ Proschic leaving just a few days after this as well, the team were in a seemingly dire position up until today. With Duško ‘Boranija’ Boranijaševic filling one of the positions after being in the team as a “tryout”, the other 2 spots were filled by fairly well known players in Ilya ‘Illidan’ Pivtsaev and Roman ‘rmN-‘ Paley.

Roman has been around in the Dota 2 scene for a very long time but only really saw any success when he joined Fantastic Five in early 2016. However, this was on a very minor scale and very short lived as Na’Vi picked upthe German and drafted him into the “big leagues”. Roman spent most of this year playing on the Natus Vincere squad, but once again, without any major success with the team, he departed in late April. But now, joining the newly formed EPG, maybe he can find some triumphant times with this team.

Ilya too has had a very long ride in the Dota 2 scene, spending a lot of his early career playing for Virtus.pro – and subsequently being kicked – before being re-drafted by the same team countess times. He has had a long history of solid performances within the VP organization, including the teams 5th-6th place finish at The International 5 and their 3rd-4th place at ESL One Frankfurt – both in 2015. Since then Ilya has been rather quiet, joining CiS squads like Team Spirit and Fantastic Five but not finding victories within these teams either. With EPG though, this could be a place where he finally finds his way to the top.

Boranija is still at the start of what could be a very compelling Dota 2 career and starting with the likes of Roman and Ilya at your back is definitely a good way to make your way to some early victories. Taking the mid-lane responsibility should the give up-and-coming 7-8k MMR Serbian a chance to shine as the team gets their chance to play together in the Blood in the Streets qualifier tomorrow.

The Elements Pro Gaming active roster is now:

Russia Ilya ‘Illidan’ Pivtsaev
Serbia Duško ‘Boranija’ Boranijaševic
Croatia Damir ‘Mitch’ Skaricic
Serbia Nikola ‘LeBronDota’ Popovic
Germany Roman ‘rmN-‘ Paley

We wish the Elements Pro Gaming squad all the best in the upcoming qualifier and for the rest of the year, and hope to see them have some high-end victories in the near future.
