In Case You Missed It, Literally Everyone Got Married This Weekend

Chances are, you or someone you know went to a wedding over Memorial Day weekend.

Look, everyone knows that spring and summer are the most popular times of the year to get married.

Normally, the third weekend June is the supreme wedding weekend…but then, suddenly, out of no where, Memorial Day weekend 2017 went and snatched the crown???

I have zero statistical proof for this hypothesis, but I do have several undeniable pieces of evidence and an insatiable desire to be right (who doesn't?), so allow me to explain.

Exhibit A: Multiple celebrities picked this fine weekend to tie the knot. There's Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmail.

And, of course, there's Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel.

Exhibit B: Literally every time I went on Facebook or Instagram this weekend, there was an onslaught of wedding photos.

Like, if my friend/long-lost acquaintance/family member/former dog walker wasn't the one getting married, they were most certainly a guest at a wedding.

Now, as an insecure millennial who can only be sure of my convictions if the internet affirms them, I turned to Twitter to see if anyone else had any thoughts on this matter. Turns out, I am not alone!

Not only do I have company, I have lots of it.
