Google has quietly updated the quality raters guidelines (PDF) on May 11, 2017. No one seemed to notice but Glenn Gabe posted on Twitter that @ramesh_s_bisht noticed the update this morning.

I did not look through to see what changed between May 11, 2017 and when they last updated it on March 14, 2017. The March 14th update was mostly around how these raters should handle hateful, untrue and insulting content. This might just be a small update.

Again, I have not yet read through the changes to compare.

I suspect Jennifer Slegg will do a deep dive on the changes, if any - that is her thing. But nothing stands out to me as that big by scanning through the 157 page PDF document.

You can read through it over here. If I spot anything new, I'll probably update this story - if it is a massive change, I'll do a new story.
