Fresh from headlining GIITTV’s Focus Wales stage in Wrexham this past weekend, Cardiff’s very own My Name Is Ian are set to release their new album ‘Cincinnati Cola’ through Bubblewrap Collective on the 2nd of June.The release comes as a white t-shirt with either red or blue print and a full album download. The t-shirt comes on a 12″ board with artwork by Linzie Elliott.

To celebrate they have given us the premiere for their new video for their fothcoming single ‘Fight, Drink and watch people die on TV‘.A rumbunctuous rolling lo-fi pop tune that’s boundless energy and stream of consciousness style delivery has echoes of the early work of Los Campesinos! spliced with MNII’s trademark irony and pathos of life’s events, the joy and pain and contradictions rushing fast before our eyes.The humourous video directed by On Par prodictions sees our three protagonists running for their lives, Forrest Gump style through Cardiff streets, South Walian castle ruins, piers and beaches…
