Ja Rule is going to get clowned a mighty long time for this one. The Queens rapper has issued an apology for the Fyre Festival that was supposed to be luxurious but ended up being budget as hell.

By now you’ve heard that the Fyre Festival that was supposed to go down all weekend in the Bahamas was abruptly canceled due to copious amounts of struggle that included cheese sandwiches and makeshift tent cities.

Ja Rule was reportedly an organizer and almost immediately he started catching heat for the debacle. This afternoon he took to Twitter to offer a mea culpa.

“We are working right now on getting everyone of [sic] the island SAFE that is my immediate concern…” read part of Ja’s statement. The “Put It On Me Rapper” was also sure to add, “I truly apologize as this is NOT MY FAULT” along with saying the festival was “NOT A SCAM.”

Ja Rule says a proper statement is also in the works. Good luck with that, sir.
