In addition to announcing details on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's first expansion, Nintendo today launched a new update for the celebrated role-playing game.

The update doesn't add any new gameplay features, but it lets you listen to the game's audio in one of its nine languages and then use a different language for text on-screen.

On Nintendo Switch, this is enabled when you download the update, which is 1.2.0. For Wii U, you need to download a "Voice Pack" from the eShop.

Today's Breath of the Wild patch also includes "various fixes to improve the gameplay experience." However, Nintendo did not offer any specifics about what's changed.

Let us know in the comments below if you notice any of the bugs that got fixed with this update.

Breath of the Wild was a launch title for the Switch, becoming the fastest-selling launch title for a Nintendo platform ever. It has now shipped more than 3.84 million copies across Switch and Wii U.
