Abstract: Objective To measure the width/diameter of cochlear nerve canal(CNC) with HRCT and estimate the the range of normal values of 95% confidence interval of CNC.Methods 258 ears in 129 cases CNC were measured with HRCT and the data was analyzed by statistical software SPSS17.0.Results the width of CNC was (1.75 ± 0.17) mm,there was no significant differences in different age groups, male and female groups, left and right groups. The normal range of width of CNC was 1.42-2.08 mm.Conclusion The HRCT measurements of CNC in infants and its normal range estimated could provide imaging reference for evaluating the development of CNC before cochlear implant.
