Integrated Family Service Organization (IFSO) is an indigenous, non-profit making non-governmental organization established in 1995 with the vision “to see a society where families are free from the effect of poverty in Ethiopia” and the mission “to work for the survival, protection and development of children to bring them up in a stable family environment and within their socio-cultural context”.
IFSO is undertaking an Illegal migration prevention intervention in South Wollo Zone, Ambassel, Tehuledere and Worebabo Woredas for the coming two years in partnership with CIFA Onlus, Italian based INGO. Accordingly, IFSO is looking for a dynamic professional for the following vacant post
Position: 6 (six) open vacancies as IGA officers – experts in socio economic development
Duty station: Coordination office in Hayk, field work in Tehuledere Woreda, Ambassel Woreda, Worebabo Woreda
Responsible to: at field level IGA Coordinator, at Country office level Program Manager/Deputy Director in Addis Ababa
Starting date: January 2018

Expected duties and responsibilities
· Planning, organizing and coordinating the implementation of interventions and activities in Ambassel, Tehuledere and Worebabo Woredas according to the project goals;
· Ensuring the respect of the action plan and budget;
· Liaising with the local authorities as IFSO field representative;
· ensuring a constant and punctual reporting, communication and information flow to the Coordinator at the field level and the Program Manager in Addis Ababa on the ongoing activities;
· Collaborating with the Lead firm partner organization and report punctually;
· Collecting technical data punctually and coaching the beneficiaries;
· Ensuring the implementation of administrative and financial procedures according to the DONOR guidelines and policies;
· Ensuring visibility requirements as per DONOR policies and collaborating with IFSO Head Office in Addis Ababa for the implementation of visibility actions.
Relationships and stakeholders:
· Represents IFSO on the areas of intervention in front of all the stakeholders at the project sites;
· Creates smooth relationships with the local partners and authorities on project implementation;
· Participates in cluster meetings and other coordination meetings with local or international stakeholders related to the project intervention, keeping the Coordinator and the Program Manager informed and up-to-date.
Requirements:
· MA and or BA degree in social sciences, preferably in the field of business management
· Knowledge of the Project Cycle Management;
· At least three years experience as MA holder and 5 years experience as BA holder as project coordinator in the relevant field of work;
· Experience on micro-entrepreneurial and economic women empowerment project management, economic development and business planning;
· Full availability to field work;
· Experience in project follow-up and monitoring;
· Coaching skills to beneficiaries on income generating activities;
· Ability to prepare periodic narrative and financial reports;
· Motorbike driving skill is mandatory, motorbike driving license is a plus;
· Good communication skill to work with local and international partners;
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Job contract duration: 1 year renewable based on performance (3 months probation period)
Salary: As per the salary scale of the organization
