The BlackBerry KEYone supports expandable memory via a hot-swappable microSD memory card slot, allowing you to add up to 2 TB of additional storage space.

How to insert a microSD memory card on the BlackBerry KEYone

  1. While looking at the front of KEYone turn the device to the right side.
  2. Above the volume rocker, there is a small outline for the SIM tray indicated by a small hole.
  3. Insert the SIM card removal tool into the small hole on the tray, doing this will pop the tray out of the slot.
  4. Pull out the tray and place it on a flat surface.
  5. Grab your microSD memory card and place it on the larger section of the tray noted SD following the outline.
  6. Gently insert the tray back into the KEYone.

Your device will automatically detect that a microSD memory card has been inserted.

These simple steps can be replicated to install your SIM card as the microSD tray serves a dual purpose for both card types and has separate sections for each type. The microSD card goes into the larger of the two spaces.

TIP: On the BlackBerry KEYone there is a small hole at the top of the device, note that this is not the area for the microSD card. The microSD tray is on the right-hand side of the device above the volume rockers. The small hole at the top of the KEYone is a microphone used for noise cancellation.
