Description of DragonStrike

Another excellent, largely unknown game from Westwood, this unique game is essentially a 3D (yes, 3D) dragon flight simulation: fight through progressively harder missions on dragonback, downing enemies with your dragon's deadly flames while avoiding theirs.

Definitely fantasy flight sim at its best. And unique, to boot ;) Two thumbs up!

Very cool. A friend gave me a copy in the early 90's. Took some getting used to but once I did I burned villages, destroyed castles and killed other dragons. I was death in the sky. I was known as the dragon rider of death!!!

Dragon combat flight simulator. They did seem to fly quite slowly on the C64 though.

The artwork is by Rick Parks. One of the best video game artist of all time. Sadly, Rick passed away several years ago.

It is impressive to see how much information they packed into less then 1MB of game. The game is really fun. spend hours on it as a child.
