Abstract: Developmental dysplasia of the hip is one of the common limb abnormalities in pediatric orthopedics. The bone of the hip joints has been intensively studied, and studies on soft tissue lesions gradually become hotspot. Soft tissue and cartilage of hip can be displayed well on MRI, but difficult on other imaging methods because of its good soft tissue resolution, which is important in clinical practice. MRI has become a necessary screening method for the diagnosis, and preoperative and prognosis evaluation of DDH. At the same time, some new technologies of MR are emerging and have great value for the earlier prediction of the lesions in cartilage and muscle. Our main purpose was to explore the MRI diagnostic value on soft tissue lesions of developmental dysplasia of the hip and to introduce the application of MR new technologies.
