Martinis are one of the most popular drinks at bars and clubs. With so many unique combinations and infusions, it's an excellent way for adults to kick back and enjoy the many flavors out there. Just like the candy, these sour apple drinks will give you that punch.
Ingredients
Servings: 1
- 2 ounces (60 ml) citrus vodka
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) orange liqueur
- 3/4 ounce (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
Steps
Part 1
Part 1 of 2:
Preparing the Glass
-
Fill a small saucer with apple schnapps. Measure about a tablespoon of schnapps and make sure it's more towards the edges.
-
Add cinnamon sugar to another small saucer. Depending on the quantity of martinis you are planning to make, add a tablespoon or several to the saucer.
-
Dip the glass rim into the schnapps. As you lift up the glass, gently swirl it to make a more cleaner appearance.
-
Dip the glass rim into the cinnamon sugar. Gently roll the rim in it, using the liqueur as an adhesive.Advertisement
Part 2
Part 2 of 2:
Preparing the Martini
-
Add crushed ice to a cocktail shaker. Fill it about halfway with ice.
-
Measure and pour the ingredients into the shaker.
-
Shake the contents. Secure the lid on and vigorously shake it for a few seconds. You will know when the contents are cold when you see condensation building up on the outside of the shaker.
-
Strain the contents. Attach a strainer on the cocktail shaker (if the shaker doesn't have one) and strain it into the martini glass.
-
Garnish the martini. Wedge a small slice of apple on the side of the glass.
