Part 1 of 2:

Preparing the Glass

  1. Measure about a tablespoon of schnapps and make sure it's more towards the edges.
  2. Depending on the quantity of martinis you are planning to make, add a tablespoon or several to the saucer.
  3. As you lift up the glass, gently swirl it to make a more cleaner appearance.
  4. Gently roll the rim in it, using the liqueur as an adhesive.

Part 2 of 2:

Preparing the Martini

  1. Fill it about halfway with ice.
  2. Secure the lid on and vigorously shake it for a few seconds. You will know when the contents are cold when you see condensation building up on the outside of the shaker.
  3. Attach a strainer on the cocktail shaker (if the shaker doesn't have one) and strain it into the martini glass.
  4. Wedge a small slice of apple on the side of the glass.
