Saber Interactive and Mad Dog Games retro, but shiny new hoops title has an official release date. NBA Playgrounds will be available as a digital download on May 9 for PS4, XB1, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
In case you've missed previous coverage on the game, it's a two-on-two arcade basketball title that is very similar to NBA Jam. NBA Playgrounds features all 30 NBA teams and the most well-known players from each club. In addition to the current players, NBA Playgrounds also offers a huge selection of legends like Allen Iverson, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and others.

- Unlocking Players and Moves - The progression system to unlocks real NBA players and new moves for each player as you upgrade their experience.
- Tournaments and Online Play. You can play solo, with friends in local and online multiplayer, or against the world in online tournaments.
- Lottery Pick System. The lottery pick system is interesting because it allows you to enjoy in-game boosts for making big plays.
