Unfortunately, you can't wear these sushi sneakers—but you can eat them.

Yujia Hu, a chef and artist based in Milan, Italy, combined his culinary and artistic talents with his passion for basketball and shoes to make incredible, edible tiny shoes out of sushi ingredients. Hu shares his creations on Instagram, and for fans of sushi and style, following Hu's account is a no-brainer.

Hu is the sushi chef and owner of Sakana Sushi in Milan. Unlike Hu's Instagram, the restaurant's menu doesn't feature Yeezy onigiri, Hu's sneaker twist on a traditional Japanese rice ball. (Perhaps that's a good business decision, considering it takes about 20 to 30 minutes for Hu to make each sushi sneaker.) The sneaker creations are more of an Instagram passion project for Hu. Other shoes featured on his account, @theonigiriart, include the Nike Supreme Uptempo sneakers, Adidas' Harden Vol. 1 sneakers, Adidas' Dame 3 sneakers, and a classic pair of Vans. He's also turned several sporty sandals into sushi, including Supreme, Adidas, and Nike.

"I actually went to an art school, but then I interrupted my studies because I had to work for myself and learn how to make sushi from a master sushi chef at only 18 years old," the now-28-year-old chef tells SELF. "I began creating onigiri art, at first, just for fun, but then I started being very passionate about it and love what I am doing."

After getting the hang of things, Hu decided to incorporate things he loved—such as the NBA, sneakers, film, and TV—into his creations. "I've always been a big fan of NBA, so I started creating onigiris representing my favorite basketball players," Hu says. "Aside from that, one of my passions is also cinema and TV series, so other creations were iconic movie and TV series actors."

Sushi versions of actors and athletes featured on Hu's Instagram include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Keanu Reaves, Pharrell Williams, Steph Curry, and Michael Jordan.

If you're wondering, yes, Hu's creations are 100 percent edible. He told SELF that he uses mostly sushi rice, seaweed, fish, and sesame seeds to make the treats. He also shared a video of himself dipping a Yeezy onigiri sneaker into soy sauce and then taking a big bite out of it. If these beautiful creations have to be destroyed, at least someone gets to eat them.
