Lil Yachty stepped up to confront another one of his many haters. This time it was Joe Budden on his debate show Everyday Struggle.

Once again, you have to give Yachty respect for not backing down whenever he is called out. Late last month Joe Budden took it upon himself to say Yachty was not Hip-Hop because of the music he makes and because of his very in-your-face cover art for his debut album Teenage Emotions. A subliminal Tweet conversation took place shortly after. But now, we get to see the two rappers talk face-to-face.

As expected, the soft-spoken Yachty got talked over by Budden for most of the “conversation.” Budden even went as far as to tell Yachty that it is impossible for him to be happy all of the time. Yes, he told another man how he is allowed to feel.

Budden said, “You cannot tell me … you would be lying to tell me that as a young man in this industry, in this music industry, in the music business, you are happy 24-7. That is a lie. That is bullsh*t. And I refuse to have somebody tell me bullsh*t. I want to have an honest conversation.”

To that Yachty replied, “When you come from a college dorm room, with no money…and you ain’t gettin’ no play with no girls, you have no clothes, you have no car…and you come to having three or four cars, millions of dollars, half a million dollars on your body just to wear, and any kind of clothes you want, any h*es you want, how can you be upset?”

In context, Joe hasn’t had the best experience with the music industry, which is why he “retired” from rapping. So it’s easy to understand why he can’t comprehend how someone could possibly love what they do.

Here’s how people are reacting.
