Ash Huang on Freelance.TV

I'm incredibly excited to share this interview I filmed with Ash Huang in her home office here in San Francisco where she talks about her life as a freelancer and why if you're not laughing a little when you're charging, maybe you're charging too little.

So, I just launched freelance.tv—it's a collection of stories on freelancing and my upcoming documentary called Freelanced. Over the past 12 months I've been traveling across the United States interviewing as many freelancers as I could find to try to learn as much as I could about freelancing, even though I've been doing it for 10 years already. Before I went full time freelancing again, I really wanted to see if there was anything I was doing wrong or to confirm the things I was doing right. I talked to successful freelancers, people just getting started, people afraid to try it, and everyone in between. Over the next bit, I'll be adding more freelancer's stories as well as teasers for the documentary.

Huge shoutout to my dear friend Nick Jones for helping me build this beautiful website. Without him, this definitely wouldn't be out there yet nor work as amazing as it does. Also, shoutout to Spencer Harrison for the custom tracks for each video, to Kris Puckett, Claudio Vallejo, and Jared Fitch for helping with all the feedback, and Jeremiah Warren for video advice. Also for my two partners already SONY and InVision for believing in this idea a year ago.

PS: For those curious, here's what I've been filming with.
