Virginia's first "Baby Café" will open May 16 at Jirani Coffeehouse in Manassas, according to a release.
As part of the international Baby Café program, Novant Health UVA Health System, the parent company of Prince William Medical Center, is partnering with Jirani Coffeehouse to provide a free location to meet for breastfeeding mothers every other Tuesday at 9425 West St.
A lactation consultant will be there to help with any breastfeeding questions.
A grand opening will be held Aug. 1, during World Breastfeeding Week.
