BROTHERS CHARGED IN DEATH OF
TIMOTHY PIAZZA; 8 FACING
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES

Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller announces


criminal charges as a result of the Centre County Grand Jurys months-long
investigation into the death of Timothy J. Piazza while pledging at the Beta
Theta Pi fraternity house on February 2, 2017.

The following defendants are scheduled to surrender to law


enforcement and be preliminarily arraigned before the Court of Common
Pleas at 2 p.m. today in Courtroom 1:

RECOMMENDATION OF CHARGES

Based upon the investigation conducted by the First Centre County Investigating Grand Jury, the
District Attorney instituted the following criminal charges today against these individuals. The first wave
of defendants will surrender to police and be preliminarily arraigned at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom 1 of the
Centre County Courthouse.
