Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.83% or 23.0 points to trade at 1278.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.08% or 6.0 points to end at 559.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.38% or 2.5 points to 664.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 12.12% or 91.5 points to trade at 663.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.34% or 400 points to end at 11570 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 3.04% or 350 points to 11150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 41 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 12.12% or 91.5 to 663.5. Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.08% or 6.0 to 559.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.59% or 0.31 to $52.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.94% or 0.52 to hit $54.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1291.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.9511, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 99.68.
