Abstract: Objective To analyze the clinical effect of rational use of antimicrobial agents in the department of respiratory medicine. Methods 45 cases of patients with respiratory diseases in the hospital from July 2014 to May 2016 were selected as the research objects. These patients were given with antibiotic treatment,and the treatment effect of them were observed. Results The antibiotics that were most frequently used in this study were cephalosporins,followed by quinolones,penicillins,tetracycline and imidazolium;66 patients were treated with one kind of antimicrobial agent alone,and 71 patients were treated with two knids of antimicrobial agents,8 patients were treated with 3 kinds of antimicrobial agents. Conclusion Antimicrobial agents are of great practical value in clinical application,and the application range is very wide. Therefore,rational use of antimicrobial agent has important clinical significance.
