The USD is being hit across the major bloc in European morning trading
And who says year-end trading can't be fun? Though liquidity is thin today, the general theme is that the dollar is being sold on the day.
EUR/USD is at 1.1883 - near session highs of 1.1885. Cable is at session highs of 1.3414, USD/JPY is at session lows of 113.16.
Meanwhile, commodity currencies are the day's biggest gainers so far with USD/CAD trading near session lows, while AUD/USD and NZD/USD are near session highs on the day.
30-40 pips moves, not too shabby on a supposedly quiet day. Just to point out, there's some resistance in cable near the 1.3420 level. It's a resistance point that has held on 18 and 20 December previously - so the pair may run into sellers there.
