The Defense Media Activity (DMA) reports to the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs). The DMA is a worldwide media organization employing state-of-the-art and emerging multi-media production and distribution technologies and operates from multiple locations in the US and overseas and with deployed combat and contingency forces throughout the world.
This position is part of the Technical Services Component of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that administrative services are provided to the CITO/Director of Technical Services, and the DMA staff in a timely and efficient manner.

As a Administrative Support Services Specialist at the GS-0301-9 some of your typical work assignments may include:
-Manages and coordinates all matters relating to the acquisition of administrative supplies and services, and the provision of IT, telecommunications, e-conferencing, and other office equipment and associated supplies, life-cycle replacement and upgrades.
-Serves as property custodian, manages and conducts inventory as necessary.
-Provide program support related to all administrative support functions related to the scheduling of: meetings, conferences, boards, steering committees, working groups, etc.
-Manages, tracks and insures completion of internal and external suspense related to DMA's missions.
