Barack Obama became known for the Spotify playlists he assembled and shared during the course of his presidency, featuring artists like Chance the Rapper, Fiona Apple, Beyoncé, Courtney Barnett, and Drake, just to name a few. Now, the Obama Foundation is continuing that tradition, recently releasing a new Spotify playlist that was guest-curated by Chance, Mavis Staples, Jennifer Hudson, actors Nick Offerman and Dan Ackroyd, and others, including former Obama staffers. The playlist is focused on Chicago for now, but the foundation says it’ll be adding “more and more songs that remind you of your hometown,” encouraging people to submit songs here. Listen to the playlist below, which includes three appearances by Kanye West as well as songs by Tom Waits, Frank Sinatra, Liz Phair, and more.
