CLEVELAND, Ohio -- In less than four weeks, the Indians will battle the Boston Red Sox at Progressive Field for the first of their 162 regular-season tilts.
The Opening Day bout will be the club's 24th consecutive Opening Day sellout. On the afternoon of April 4, fans will see the ballpark's latest renovations for the first time.
Here, we have a sneak peak at some of the alterations going on at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. The construction crew has less than a month to place the finishing touches on the new scoreboard, the season-ticket holder club behind home plate, the beer garden, the new concession stands and the left-field district.

Beer garden
Adjacent to the team shop will be a beer garden, which will house Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s beers. There will be high-top seating and lighting strung similarly to the lighting on nearby E. 4th Street. The space used to be occupied by a traditional ballpark fare stand.

Open space
The brick arches were inspired by the architecture at League Park, where the Indians played a century ago. There is more open space, so fans can see the action while walking around the concourse.
