Most of these types of videos are shot in Mosul making this clip from over the Syrian border slightly more surprising.

A car can be seen driving slowly round a bend in the city into a group of vehicles.

The motor draws in close to the collection of what appear to be 4x4s before bumping into one.

On impact the driver detonates his on-board explosive sending dust and smoke shooting into the sky in a black cloud.

It is currently unknown how many people were killed in the blast.

The news comes just days after the Trump administration intervened in the region, having previously been very outspoken about keeping out of the conflict.

The US government intervened following a chemical attack conducted by the Assad regime.

Trump accused the Syrian dictator of being behind the gas airstrikes that killed 100 during a press conference with Middle East ally King Abdullah of Jordan.

He said: "These heinous actions by the Assad regime cannot be tolerated my attitude toward Syria and Assad has changed very much."

Earlier today Boris Johnson has suggested Britain would offer support to the United States if it launched a similar missile strike on Syria to that which recently targeted an air field in the country.

The Foreign Secretary said the UK would find it "very difficult" to say no to a request from the United States to an attack in pursuit of similar objectives.

Mr Johnson told MPs during a statement on the situation in Syria and North Korea that the US did not ask the UK for specific support ahead of the strike.

He added: "But it is my belief, though I stress no such decision has yet been taken, it is my belief that were such a request to be made in future, were it to be a reasonable request in pursuit of similar objectives, then I think it would be very difficult for the United Kingdom to say no."
