Live from Dublin, Ireland with Ian Cleary of RazorSocial โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐ŸŽ‰ Ask Us Anything! [Gah, so sorry for the whining noise in the background at first. We didn't hear it on our end & I wasn't checking the comments at first, my bad! The noise does seem to dissipate when we bring the first guest on. Hm.]

Facebook did tell me last week that this new split screen/picture-in-picture guest Live feature is still verrrrry buggy!!

To do split-screen, start the Live broadcast in landscape....
To do PIP (picture-in-picture) like FaceTime, start your Live in portrait.

In terms of rollout, some users in the US and Australia seem to have this feature. Blue check verified public figures using the Mentions app are more likely to have the feature on their Pages (or verified profiles). Or, try the native FB app if you profile or page is verified.

Otherwise, keep checking -- any time you do a Facebook Live broadcast, try to swipe left on the comments/reactions across the bottom of the screen. You'll then see little thumbnail profile pictures for all your viewers and anyone who fits the criteria to join you live will have a green camera icon on their profile picture. Tap a person's profile and they can choose to accept or decline your invite. If someone is viewing via desktop, they can't join you. Or, possibly if their phone signal strength isn't strong enough.

This feature may currently be for iOS only. As soon as I find out more, I'll be sure to share with you all!!
