Gorillaz have announced their first North American show in seven years, as Consequence of Sound points out. The Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett-created band will perform at Festival d'été de Québec (Quebec City Summer Festival) on Saturday, July 15 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern. The show takes place a month after the Gorillaz’s inaugural Demon Dayz festival, which happens in Marsgate, England on June 10. Last week, Gorillaz performed their new album Humanz at a London show. Joining them were album guests including Noel Gallagher, Danny Brown, Jehnny Beth, Pusha T, Kelela, and others. The new record is out April 28 via Parlophone.
