Position)



Job Description:

As a part of our talented and innovative E-Commerce Team, you will take part
in the development of cutting-edge web and mobile applications solving
challenging business needs. You will be building apps from ground up,
starting with investigating design approaches, prototyping new solutions,
and evaluating technical feasibility. You will be responsible for all
aspects of development, testing, and maintenance of key systems. You will
work in fast moving dynamic Agile - SCRUM environment to deliver great user
experience and high quality software. Development responsibilities include
overall application design and development of critical application
components using J2EE. Other responsibilities include 24x7 support, problem
trouble-shooting and resolution.



Location: Midtown Atlanta, just across from Colony Square next to the Arts
Center with easy access to MARTA Train & Bus Service, and interstate access.



Education: 4-yr College Degree required in Information Systems, Computer
Science, Engineering or related field.



Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the development of web applications in Ext JS, Java,
and DB2LUW environment.

2. Work with business partners to gather requirements, prepare
functional specifications, form project plans and communicate progress
throughout the software development lifecycle.

3. Analyze and design technical solutions for complex business
requirements.

4. Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout.



Skills Required:

1. 5+ years of application development using J2EE, JavaScript, HTML and
CSS.

2. 3+ years in an enterprise information technology environment
developing Java based client-server applications using Java, JavaScript,
HTML and CSS.

3. Experience in developing applications using SQL against relational
databases.

4. Java EE Technologies (JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JPA).

5. Experience with Git/TFS.

6. Experience of JavaScript frameworks like ExtJS and JQuery.

7. Working experience in use and deployment of Web Services using SOAP
and RESTFUL models.

8. Effective independent and team player and self-starter with high
adaptability to new technologies.

9. Excellent verbal, written communication skills.

10. Good understanding of design patterns and user interface design.

11. Experience developing and supporting mission critical applications
running 24x7.



Skills Preferred:

1. Experience with JBoss, Fortify, Jenkins, Cordova.

2. Familiarity with testing methodologies, strategies and automated
tool.
