Justin Trudeau Challenged Matthew Perry To A Rematch
Like many, I spent April 1st terrified that I would foolishly let my guard down and fall prey to the cling wrap-over-the-toilet-bowl trick. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, spent April 1st trolling his former school yard foe Matthew Perry. A few weeks ago, Matthew Perry admitted that he once, in a jealous pre-teen rich kid rage, beat up a third grade age Justin Trudeau when they went to school together in Ottawa, Ontario. On Saturday, PM Justin simultaneously dragged Chandler Bing and challenged Matthew to a fight.
I've been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn't wanted to punch Chandler? How about a rematch @MatthewPerry?

I can see it now. In this corner, standing at 6 feet tall, weighing in at, I don’t know, heavier than Monica, it’s Chandler from Friends! In the opposite corner, able to flood your Rideau Canal with a smile, it’s The Heat from the Prime Minister’s Seat! Sadly, we’ll never get that pay-pew-view fight, because PM Justin’s fight threat was just an April Fools’ joke. Justin Trudeau’s Principal Secretary confirmed the news.
Gotcha, @people. #poissondavril https://t.co/XeHZ9ZQXLW

But also, because Matthew Perry clearly doesn’t want to get his ass whupped by a dude who could clearly take him. Smart.
@JustinTrudeau I think I will pass at your request for a rematch kind sir (given that you currently have an army at your disposal)

That was a pretty good April Fool’s Day joke. Nobody saw that one coming. If someone had told us last month that a leader of a North American country was going to challenge a formerly huge sitcom star to a fight over Twitter, I don’t think any of us would have called Trudeau.
