ALTERNATE aTTax have parted ways with their Dota 2 squad. The German based organization has been the home for the Polish roster for two years.
Made on April 1, many assumed that the announcement from ALTERNATE aTTaX that they would be parting ways with their Dota 2 roster was only joke. Unfortunately for their loyal fans, it was not the case.
The organization has reported that they will focus on League of Legends instead - cost restrictions being a primary focal point. As for the players, there has been no further information regarding what will be in store for the current squad, but based on such a solid and rare stability, one can only assume they will continue to play together and seek out a new organization or sponsor.
Alternate aTTaX
Team Alternate is German eSports organization which debuted in Dota 2 in March, 2015. The organization picked up the Polish squad formerly known as Let's Do It.
Since then, the team has had a noticeable presence in European minor tournaments and open qualifiers.
Most recent and notably the team had traveled to China for WESG 2016 after qualifying in their regionals. They placed 13-16th at the main event after taking second to last place in Group D.
