These positions are located in the FLETC, Regional and International Training Directorate, Office of Cheltenham Operations (OCH), Cheltenham, Maryland. The selected individuals serve as the confidential Staff Assistants to the OCH Site Director and to the Chief of the Cheltenham Administration Division providing substantial administrative and management support duties to ensure accomplishment of the FLETC and the OCH missions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is basically sedentary with occasional requirements to lift/move objects (supplies) weighing up to fifteen pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is performed in an environmentally controlled office setting with potentially frequent interruptions and stress-inducing time/workload deadlines.

4. Ability to skillfully use automated programs and equipment to develop and assist in the presentation of well-organized visual aids. Skill in using computer equipment and software to develop databases, spreadsheets, etc.
5. Knowledge of standardized administrative office practices and procedures to conduct studies of administrative work processes. Ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to increase productivity and accuracy regarding staffing actions and administrative processes.
