Ranbir dressed for the occasion in a white kurta and dhoti. He also donned a shawl around himself. He completed his overall look with his cool shades. Alia, on the other hand, looked stunning as ever in a turquoise saree. The saree grabbed eyeballs because of its connection to Ramayana. It featured the entire Ramayan depicted on it through motifs of Hanuman, Ram Setu and Lord Ram.

With more than 7,000 invitees, comprising politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, industrialists, and various others, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the temple trust, orchestrated the grand event. The celebrations commenced on January 16 and reached their pinnacle with the installation of the Ram Lalla idol in the extensive temple premises spanning over 70 acres.
