The ongoing alpha for the Xbox Game Pass service will wrap up on April 28, Microsoft has confirmed. A message in the Xbox Insider app on Xbox One reveals the end-date.

"Thank you for participating in the Xbox Game Pass Alpha Preview," the message reads. "You feedback has been invaluable and will make the service better for all gamers....We're getting close to launch and Xbox Game Pass will be available for all gamers later this Spring."

Xbox Game Pass, which was announced in February, is a Netflix-like service that provides subscribers with access to a catalog of 100 games (see all the confirmed titles here). Alpha testers have access to around 20, not including some of the bigger ones like Halo 5 and NBA 2K16.

Xbox Game Pass is expected to launch for all Xbox One owners this Spring. Though an official release date has not been announced, the fact that the Alpha is ending soon suggests that the release may be right around the corner. The official last day of Spring is June 20.

Earlier this week, Microsoft sent out a new wave of invitations to the Xbox Game Pass Alpha. If you're an Xbox Insider, check your messages for a invitation.
