It was inevitable but Nintendo Europe has confirmed to Eurogamer that the Nintendo Entertainment System Mini will also be discontinued in Europe. However, there is some slightly encouraging news as the company has said that there’s a possibility that production may resume in the future. They advise consumers that an update will be posted on the official website if this indeed happens.
“We can confirm that we are no longer manufacturing the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System,” a Nintendo spokesperson told Eurogamer today.
“If production resumes in the future, an update will be posted on the official Nintendo website.”

Baffling… Just… Baffling…
Didn’t see that one coming (duh)
Since Nintendo can’t use “stability” updates to the NES Mini to “make the thing more stable”, maybe they are canceling production of these because of people hacking the things & using them to play more than just the 30 games it does have. I wonder what Ninty made “stable” with the Switch update today.
When it comes to this subject, Nintendo is the biggest ASSES in the world.
