Cody Rhodes To Challenge For Ring Of Honor Championship At NYC War Of The Worlds Show

Ring of Honor released a statement today and have announced that "The American Nightmare" Cody will be challenging the Ring of Honor Champion at the War of the Worlds show in Hammerstein Ballroom on May 12th.

Right now, the only person confirmed for this match is Rhodes, as the ROH Championship is set to be defended before this show. ROH title holder Christopher Daniels needs to get through Matt Taven to get to the main event of the show in Manhattan.

Cody is not the only member of the Ring of Honor roster to be receiving a title shot. The winner of a Four Corners Survival Match between Hangman Page, Jay White, Silas Young and Jay Lethal will also be added to the main event title match making it a triple threat.
