April 5, 2015 - Happy Easter/Spring! Another Assortment of Eggs
Top to bottom: Baltimore Oriole (white with streaks and spots), Chilean Tinamou (glossy purple), Common Murre (speckled blue-green)
I knew I wanted to draw tinamou eggs this year after reading this story about them recently. They’re really amazing, brightly colored with a very glossy shine. The Chilean Tinamou isn’t the only species like this either, other tinamous have bright yellowish-green or bluish eggs!
