The 2018 Acura TLX will be the next model in the brand’s lineup to feature the look introduced last year on the MDX crossover.

Like the MDX, the brand’s midsize sedan will feature a design inspired by the Precision Concept that made waves at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The teaser image released by Acura puts the so-called “Diamond Pentagon Grille” front and center.

But Acura says the TLX’s refresh is far more than a facelift, and “also includes new premium features and technology enhancements” that the automaker claims make it “among the most technologically advanced and well-equipped cars in its segment.”

The cover will be pulled off the 2018 Acura TLX on April 11, the eve of the New York Auto Show.
