Jeremy Corbyn says he wouldn’t swap with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger – but thinks Gunners job would be easier
Labour leader admits the two roles have much in common as speculation grows over the future of the two embattled chiefs
JEREMY CORBYN has ruled out a job swap with Arsene Wenger - after it was suggested they were more qualified for each other's jobs.
The Labour leader strongly praised Arsenal manager Wenger's record when ITV politics commentator Allegra Stratton compared the abilities of the embattled duo.
But Corbyn insisted the Frenchman had a more straightforward job than him - because the Gunners have fewer problems with team selection.

Stratton, co-host of ITV's Robert Peston programme told Corbyn: "As Arsenal manager you could re-energise the club's membership...and perhaps Labour could benefit from a leader with an economics degree and a genuine desire to stay in Europe."
But left-winger Corbyn showed a deft touch as he hit back with an equaliser.

He said: "Arsene Wenger is a wonderful man and he's a great manager and a great guy and I think we should admire him."
Corbyn revealed he had never talked about a job swap with Wenger.
But he added: "I've discussed football with Wenger and I've discussed literature and poetry.. He's a man of great depth."
And asked which job was easier, Corbyn told the Robert Peston programme: "Probably managing Labour because the options for team selection are wider."
