SmackDown Live ratings (March 21, 2017): Viewers up slightly

WWE.com

On Tuesday, March 21, SmackDown gave us an episode full of build to WrestleMania 33, confirming two matches for that event and crowning new tag team champions in a match they announced prior to Monday’s episode of Raw.

It bought WWE a slightly larger audience than last week at 2.65 million viewers, which was the fourth biggest among cable originals on the night. Unfortunately, it was only a slight increase over the previous episode, and continues a run of pretty lackluster numbers for their shows heading into the biggest event on the calendar.

We’ll see what they can pull out next week for the Mania ‘go home’ shows. In the meantime, here’s a list of the blue brand’s audiences this year:

March 14 - 2.63 million
March 7 - 2.74 million
February 28 - 2.57 million
Feb. 21 - 2.79 million
Feb. 14 - 2.63 million
Feb. 7 - 2.63 million
Jan. 31 - 2.82 million
Jan. 24 - 2.56 million
Jan. 17 - 2.65 million
Jan. 10 -2.53 million
Jan. 3 - 2.59 million
