KOTA KINABALU: Some 30 tourist boats were seized by the coastguard under a special month-long operations in an effort to ensure high safety level among operators as the holiday season start.
Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Kota Kinabalu director First Admiral Adam Aziz said the operations code named Ops Mengalum and Ops Mantanani saw checks made to 337 boats plying in waters off Kota Kinabalu checked.
