Family’s liver donor match plea for son Charlie Collins

A south Wales family has made an appeal to find a liver donor for their ill son.

Eight-year-old Charlie Collins has Biliary Atresia, which can cause blockages of bile flow, and now needs a liver transplant.

He moved to Wales with his family from Ireland before Christmas in hope of a better chance of finding a liver match.

His mum Helen Lynch spoke to BBC’s Good Morning Wales programme.
