Those of you that follow the Routes and Branches blog will know that we have been talking about customers a lot recently.  Our latest post explores the importance of customer testiomonials

Here are our top tips: 

  1. The simplest way to get testimonials is to ask your customers for them.
  2. Keep the quotes short, snappy and to the point.
  3. Use photographs - photographs reveals that photos make facts and statements more believable
  4. Try to make the quotes reflect general concerns that there may be about your type of business or service.
  5. Change them regularly to to keep them fresh and up to date
  6. Add a description of the work done or even photographs if appropriate.
  7. ​Arrange testimonials according to category
  8. Getting customer’s permission before using their comments is essential. You can’t publish a comment which has not been approved
  9. Use stories to persuade
