Suicide Squad director David Ayer and Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn in the film, are set to work again on another DC movie, Gotham City Sirens.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sirens--like the comic of the same name--will feature DC's roster of female supervillains. That includes Quinn, whom Robbie will reprise her role as. Other characters weren't confirmed for the film; the comic stars Catwoman and Poison Ivey alongside Quinn.

Ayer will serve as a director and producer on the movie. The screenplay will be written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who also served as a writer on the upcoming third Sherlock Holmes movie and Tomb Raider reboot. A release date hasn't been set, but THR describes it as being on the fast track.

The site also reports that a Suicide Squad sequel is still in development. Additionally, a spinoff starring Will Smith's character, Deadshot, is also being considered.

Suicide Squad, while panned by many, ultimately made more than $700 million at the box office. An extended cut Blu-ray recently arrived, which you can read more about here.
