Consummate wedding crasher, Ed Sheeran will apparently play a very special role in the nuptials of his buddy, Courteney Cox's wedding.

The smooth crooner is set to officiate her wedding to Johnny McDaid, according to the Daily Mail

"He had already agreed to perform a couple of ballads after they exchange vows, so it seemed logical to him that he should get them hitched too," an insider told The Daily Star

It's only fitting. Ed, reportedly played matchmaker to Court and the Irish rocker while he was staying in her pool house, recording his second album. As a result, the source adds that he's "bursting with pride," and "he' told them he's up for anything that will help make their special day truly memorable." What a pal.

Besides that, we're old told by, umm, the National Enquirer that "Courteney wants tacos, burritos and chips" served as the main course. Well sign us up.

Just like her BFF Jen Aniston's wedding, this one is sure to be magical...and we'll probably never get to hear much about it. Le sigh.
